AI ad videos from your idea: a presenter who talks, cinematic shots and music
A filmed ad usually takes a camera crew, a presenter, a studio, an editor and music, which is a lot for a small shop or a new business. AI Studio now has an Ad video tool: describe your idea and add a photo of your product, and it makes a complete 15 or 30 second ad with a presenter who speaks in a natural voice with lips in sync, cinematic shots, your product exactly as in its photo, words on screen, music composed to the scenes, and an end card with your logo and button.

The ad form: your idea, your product photos, who appears, and an example storyboard beside it.
Make your ad in five steps
- Say what the ad is for: the product or service, the offer if there is one, and who it speaks to. Add up to 3 product photos and your logo if you like; your product appears in the ad exactly as in its photo.
- Choose who appears: a presenter made by AI (describe their age, look and clothes if you like), a narrator with no one on screen, or you, from a selfie you take with your camera after you agree to its use in your ad.
- Check the story: Claude writes the ad scene by scene so it adds up to its length exactly: what is said in each scene, the words on screen, what the camera sees and how it moves, the music and the end card. Everything can be edited before anything is made.
- Frames, then the video: a picture of each scene is made first, so you see them and can redo any with a note. Then the video is made: the presenter says their lines with lips in sync, the other scenes become moving shots, and music is composed to the scenes' timing. It takes a few minutes, and you can close the page and come back.
- Play and save: the player shows the whole ad with its words, subtitles and end card, the music stepping down while a line is spoken. Press “Save video” to download it (MP4 in Chrome and Safari) and “Save cover image” for its cover.

The storyboard: each scene with its time, words and picture, for you to edit before anything is made.
Pick the voice by ear
The voice is half the ad. The form has a voice card: press “Change voice” to see the voices for the ad's language, men and women, with different accents, and press ▶ on any of them to hear a line before you pick it. More in the voice-over guide.

Hear any voice before you pick it: men and women, and a search by name or accent.
What an ad costs
You see the price before anything is made: the whole ad's price is on the button before you start, then the frames' price before they are made, and the video's before it is made. The credits are held while it is made and only what was made is taken; if something isn't made, its credits come back.
- A 15 second ad with a presenter who talks: about 790 credits.
- A 15 second ad with no one talking on screen (a narrator and shots): about 600 credits.
- A 30 second ad with a presenter: about 1,280 credits.
Prices follow what the models that make the pictures, the video and the music cost, so they may move a little; the number on the button is always the right one.
Rules that protect your ad and your audience
- No famous or real people other than you, and no lookalikes. Your face only comes from a selfie you take yourself after you agree, and you can delete it whenever you like, which stops its use.
- No made-up customer reviews or testimonials; the presenter speaks for your brand.
- No prices, offers or contact details you didn't write.
- Save your video: an ad's files are kept for 30 days, then deleted.
- When you post: TikTok, Instagram and YouTube ask you to mark AI-generated content; turn on the platform's AI-generated label as you post.
Tips for an ad that sells
- Lead with the benefit in the first two seconds: write the most important thing the customer gets, and the story starts with it.
- A clear product photo on a plain background in good light gives better shots.
- A real offer and one call to action: “Order now” or “Visit us today” with your link or number.
- Short lines: each line the presenter says fits its scene's time, so shorter is clearer.
- Try a look: cinematic, energetic, luxury, warm, playful, tech or minimal; every product has one that suits it.
